Endeavour
When the NASA space shuttle Endeavour blasted off from Cape Kennedy on 5 December 2001, its main mission was to transport fresh supplies to the International Space Station. However, it also carried equipment for a range scientific studies, including the Prototype Synchrotron Radiation Detector.
