B-factory
SLAC director Jonathan Dorfan (top) and Pier Oddone, deputy director of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, celebrate the completion of the B-factory at SLAC. Dorfan was the B-factory project director; Oddone originated the idea of using an asymmetric electron-positron collider for B-meson experiments.
