MINOS far detector
The MINOS far detector in its cavern in the Soudan Underground Laboratory. Each year up to 40,000 members of the public descend to view the laboratory. An added attraction is the 18.3 x 7.6 m mural painted on the cavern wall by Minneapolis artist Joseph Giannetti.
